back to post. anyway, today had cello lesson as usual. wasnt great. did not practise but learnt new th and passed two of the pieces. haha like finally!haha. hate to take mii cello and keep it. very ma fan!and i scared the sound that i produced sux.haha.anyway, bad news, mii cello leg cant come out and i hate using others. all the lousy unlike mine, theirs abit abit out of tune. lousy cello. haizz hope cher faster come back from china and save mii cello!!! school starts and project work are piling up!!!like siao like that. alll so difficult... >_< haha. must learn to manage my time.

Close your eyes and imagine this: a mother gives her child all he needs. Giving him warmth when he is cold, feeding him when he is hungry, and giving him the best that she could afford. However, when the boy turns into a man, he took his mother’s hard-earned money and abandoned her. You will find this outrage, don’t you?  Have you ever think that how did we treat our Mother Earth, GAIA? We are similar to the boy; we repay GAIA by destroying the environment and natural resourced.

                We are here to turn the hearts of man around to save the Earth and not “bite the hand that feeds it”.

                As there are several negative impacts of man’s activities on GAIA, I will like to focus on one particular topic: Global Warming. First, ________ will talk about the effect of Global Warming on existence of animals and plants and why is it important to protect them. Second, ________will talk about the effect of global warming on water resources and natural disasters. Third, _______ will talk about the effect of Global Warming on human health and why we need to stop endangering our lives.

                Look and the diagram here, it shows the rising of global temperature from 1998 till now. It is due to Man’s doing such as deforestation, burning of fossil fuel, the emission of harmful gases etc. The rising of temperature will cause animals and plants to be endangered and later, it will be extinct. It is caused when animals and plants are forced to adapt to another habitat. Take for example, Polar Bear, they are endangering as the winter period is getting shorter and ice are melting due to the temperature and they will suffer from hunger. We all, do not wish that our future generation not able to see many alive animals but only pictures of them.

Global Warming will destroy the balance of water supply and demand and even possibly expand worldwide gap in water availability. Simply to say it means that there will be areas that are frequently flooded on one hand, and areas constantly suffering drought and water shortage on the other. Blumenau, a city in Southern Brazil constantly suffers from the threat of floods. On the other hand, Ethiopia is often suffering from droughts. This could lead to food shortage as when flooding occurs, it will cover the crops and they will not be able to take in carbon dioxide thus, it cannot make its own food through photosynthesis which require Carbon dioxide and will die. As for places which suffer from droughts, crops will not have enough of water to photosynthesis and crops whither. This will led to food shortage and we, human as well as animals will be suffering.

Most importantly, climate change brings with it many health risks, including heat-related illnesses and malnutrition caused by food shortages. It also increases the number of people suffering from serious diseases such as malaria, meningitis and dengue fever. For example, an increase in wetter, warmer conditions will spread malaria to regions where it was previously absent, putting more lives at risk and a massive strain on the region’s health services. The increase in rainfall and flooding is also leaving people exposed to waterborne diseases such as cholera, diarrhea and dysentery as people have no choice but to drink contaminated water, especially if floods have destroyed local sanitation and sewage facilities.

As a secondary student, we have only limited capabilities. But by doing our part could mean a lot. We could save our Mother Earth by doing the 3Rs, reduce, reuse and recycle. We can recycle papers, cans and plastic bags. Thank you.

btw, Life is unfair!

mii cousin brother who is living with mii..just now mii mum bought home noodles and he could ask mii maid to pour out the DRY noodle for him...but for mii i eating noodle SOUP and is HOT!but mii mum didnt ask anyone to help...and said that i shld pour mii self!!!

Where gt like this????!!!!

another case is, sometimes they wanna eat the chilli and needed to be cut into smaller pieces, they call mii maid to do.But for mii, i have to cut miiself...

I HATE THIS WORLD!!!!!ITS UNFAIR!!!
